Note that in this list "ȝ", "ċ", "sċ", and "cȝ" represent sound like Modern English "y", "ch" or "tsh", "sh", and "dg(e)" or "j", respectively, whereas "g", "c", "sc", and "cg" represent sounds similar to Modern English "g", "k", "sk", and the two g's in "big guy", respectively. "(m)", "(n)", and "(f)" following a noun mean "masculine", "neuter", and "feminine", respectively.
