I don't know what your goal is here, but stop creating machine translations. This is a first, last and only warning. Praxidicae (motung) 20:19, 23 Winterfylleð 2025 (UTC)Reply

Apologies for the trouble, I am not the best at Old English (I am still actively learning, I started learning in March) and got a decent chunk of text incorrect.

I can read Old English decently well (though I still get stumped with some words), though when it comes to translating, I feel (especially since you saw my translations as being Machine-made) I am not the best at translating TO the language (especially with the different affixes and suffixes that I'm still getting a grip with).

The main resources I use for words are https://www.oldenglishtranslator.co.uk/ and Wiktionary (If there are better sources that you'd recommend, I'd be down to hear them, since I do want to be better at the language in general.)

I will admit that I did adlib words such as "folcspel" for "meme", which is likely incorrect (I'm pretty sure "folc" and "spel" is akin to "folk-tale" (which I personally feel is a reasonable way to describe a meme.) or something along those lines, correct if I'm wrong; also I saw some other modern terms get translated, so I decided to do that for "meme", unless that was a no-no.), also in the case of "līfstrēamere" for instance, I didn't know if I should translate the term or keep it as is (as said, I thought I saw a few articles do something similar), so in this case, I just did līf + a loaned form of "streamer", which I tried to translate phonetically.

Though re-reading the writing style guide and the self-correction checklist, I will (in the future, if I were to be unblocked) apply them more closely, as I didn't really follow them properly.

When it comes to the Spamming, I apologize for the jokey/spammy articles, I wrote those mostly as practice (61 and 67, given there was an article on 67 that was being made for the enwiki, and given I've seen 61 trending as of late within the past week or so on Twitter, Reddit, and Discord), and or as a joke (Narpy and Andre_Moraph, I didn't find anything on a notability guideline so I thought maybe they would be fine, or at least Narpy, since he was/is a decently known content creator)

But yeah, Apologies for the low quality Old English text and the spammy/joke articles, (If I were to be unblocked) I will not do articles like those in the future, (apologies for doing it in the first place.)
And I'll try learning how to properly write Old English a bit more before doing anything else at the very least.
If I need to explain anything specific about anything I am completely down to explain.

I hope that you have a nice day, apologies for the bother; and apologies for the poor writing you had to sift through.
Also my bad for the text wall. DigiSpaceProductions(motung) 04:53, 24 Winterfylleð 2025 (UTC)Reply

Also apologies for the bad formatting, been a bit since I've posted on any talk forum on this site, forgot it does NOT maintain formatting. DigiSpaceProductions (motung) 04:57, 24 Winterfylleð 2025 (UTC)Reply

Also another thing, I noticed your profile lacks a box declaring your Old English skill level, I'm curious how long you have been learning it?
Mostly since I think it'd be nice to actually get feedback about the issues I did from someone with actual experience, assuming you have any, and didn't just assume based off the joke articles I wrote.

Also sorry for giving 2 replies, just MILDLY curious on that, since it's not listed. DigiSpaceProductions (motung) 17:41, 24 Winterfylleð 2025 (UTC)Reply
Still awaiting your response.
I'm still interested in what methods you used to deduce that I used AI, even though I didn't, I'm just not the best at the tongue.
