I am only aware of two mentions of Apulia / Puglia in Englisc: in Orosius as Apulia and in the ASC, which latter extract is quoted in the article.

The 1097 Chronicle calls it Puille, but as it is dative, that suggests to me a feminine place-name with nominative form ending "-a", though the text is late, when some dative endings were falling off, so I am open to being told I am wrong and if Alfredian Englisc were preferred then the name of the article would have to change. From what I can tell, Alfred's Englisc is used mostly, although I dont think there's grave importance either way. You decide. — ᚹᚩᛞᛖᚾᚻᛖᛚᛗ (ᚷᛖᛋᛈᚱᛖᚳ) 07:15, 2 Hāligmōnaþ 2011 (UTC)
