Should this be "Helsingfors", or Helsinga- something? Helsingfors is the Swedish name for the city. According to the local tale, it was named after settlers from Hälsingland in Sweden, the Helsinge, from whom was named the local river and hence the waterfall (fors) on it. the founding of the city postdates the Anglo-Saxon era, so Wulfstan never wrote about it!
