I chose ȝeac for the simple fact that nearly all other languages use the native Tibetan "yak" as a loan-word, figured we didnt really have much other choice, although I certainly wouldnt oppose something like ƿyllen oxa in common speech, or as an alternative term. — ᚹᚩᛞᛖᚾᚻᛖᛚᛗ 22:50, 17 Wēodmōnaþ 2009 (UTC)

Geac sounds good to me.
